Why Therapy?
In today’s fast-paced and often overwhelming world, therapy offers a sanctuary for personal growth and healing. Whether you're facing life's challenges or seeking to improve your overall well-being, therapy provides numerous benefits.
Let's talk about it...
Despite the increasing acceptance of mental health care, a negative stigma around therapy still exists. Many people mistakenly believe that seeking therapy is a sign of weakness or indicates a severe mental illness. This misconception can prevent individuals from getting the help they need, leading them to suffer in silence. It's essential to challenge and overcome this stigma, ensuring that everyone feels empowered to seek the mental health care they deserve, free from judgment or discrimination.

About me
Hello! I'm Reginald Gilmore II (he/him), originally from Chattanooga, Tennessee. I earned my Master's degree in social work from UTC, where my deep passion for this field was ignited. As an African American therapist, I've witnessed firsthand the harm caused by oppressive systems. I believe in the vital need for both social justice and personal healing, recognizing that repairing trauma often begins at home. My mission is to help clients not only survive but thrive in the face of adversity.
